Description/Problem Statement

Ď㽶´«Ă˝â€™s current onpremise Banner environment requires increasing institutional effort to maintain infrastructure, apply patches, manage security risks, and support upgrades.

Transitioning to Banner SaaS shifts infrastructure responsibility to Ellucian while allowing Ď㽶´«Ă˝ to retain control over business processes and data. This change improves sustainability, reduces longterm technical risk, and aligns the institution with Ellucian’s supported ERP platform.

Goals
  • Transition Banner from onpremise hosting to Ellucian SaaS
  • Increase reliability, security, and compliance
  • Confirm functional requirements are met without redesign
  • Prepare teams for ongoing SaaS operations
