Political science alumna Kunoor Ojha hired by Clinton campaign

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign has hired Ïã½¶´«Ã½ alumna Kunoor Ojha (PS ’13) as the new national campus and student organizing director. Ojha previously worked for the Bernie Sanders campaign as the director of student organizing. According to , Ojha is the Clinton campaign’s first major hire from the Sanders campaign.

Ojha brings extensive campaign experience to her new role. While she was a student at Ïã½¶´«Ã½, she worked as a field organizer for President Obama’s second presidential campaign. After graduation, she served as a regional field director for Yes for Independent Maps, a campaign focused on reforming the legislative district map-drawing process in Ïã½¶´«Ã½. Prior to joining the Sanders campaign, she was a field director for the Bill Hughes Jr. congressional campaign in New Jersey. 

As a student, Ojha was a very active member of the Ïã½¶´«Ã½ community. She served as vice president and president of IIT Feminist United, participated in Habitat for Humanity, and worked as a student DJ at WIIT.
