Kat Evans

Kat Evans is a theatre artist located in Chicago since 2006. Writing credits include two full length plays PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS and PLAY ON A BATTLEGROUND, comedy show and podcast Starlight Radio Dreams, Our Fair City: Human Resources (cowritten with Ele Matelan), audio comedy Numbers Game (Whiskey Radio Hour and Mini Shenanigans), and episodes of The Daily Devo Show and Bible Builds for faith-based childrens’ network YIPPEE. In voiceover, you can hear Kat in arcade games made by Raw Thrills, several audio drama and comedy podcasts, and animated shorts. As a performer in the live theatre scene in Chicago, she loves new works and has performed in premieres by Idris Goodwin, Kristine Thatcher, Brian Pastor, Ed Rutherford, Eddie Sugarman & Jiwan Kim, Reina Hardy & Matt Board, and Kingsley Day. Kat teaches in the Department of Humanities at the Ïã½¶´«Ã½ Institute of Technology and coaches business professionals in leadership and communication with Speak By Design. She holds a BA in Communications from Calvin University, and an MA in Theatre and an MFA in Acting from The Ohio State University.
